Executive Officer – Wendy Major
Wendy commenced working with the SGBCLLEN in September 2009.  Formerly of East Gippsland, Wendy has a background that includes work in adult education, employment services, Country Education Project, Disadvantaged Schools Program and school councils. She was Manager of the LCP program at Gippsland East LLEN and School Council President at Lakes Entrance Secondary College for three years.  

 

Wendy is enjoying the South Gippsland climate and while having to wear a coat more often is once more becoming familiar with the comforting sound of rain on the roof.  With an interest in bush walking and kayaking she looks forward to exploring the local beaches, waterways and forests of South Gippsland and Bass Coast.

Finance/Admin Officer – Ann Roberts
Ann started at the LLEN in 2001, works full time and manages all aspects of the finances, payroll and administration, office management and reports to the Committee and Members of the LLEN.   She has seen many positive changes through the years and the  progress the LLEN has made.

Partnership Broker – Karena Kerr
Karena joined SGBCLLEN in April 2006 working on Local Community Partnershipinitiatives Structured Workplace Learning and Adopt a School. Karena has a strong Industry background and is currently working as a Partnership Broker coordinating various programs promoting partnerships between school and industry.

Partnership Broker - Laurie Werrett

Laurie commenced work at the LLEN in June 2009 as a LLEN representative involved in both South Gippsland Bass Coast Trade Training Centre and the Transport Connections Initiatives. Prior to Laurie’s commencement with the LLEN he taught at Leongatha Secondary College and has a strong interest in curriculum development which has enhanced the LLENs involvement in education based projects with partners such as Phillip Island Nature Park and the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Indigenous Action Group.
